I was asked to design a series of promotional brochures for the American Institute of Physics (AIP). The Brand Manager provided me with “spin-art” imagery to use as a unifying brand element for the series. I was also asked to use art from the previously published journals. When I looked at the journals, the images were mostly charts and diagrams, not really art. The challenge was to create a look and feel for the series out of the journal assets. There were twenty different Journals published by AIP and I designed promo brochures for all of them. Here are a sampling of some of their covers.
